Hi Michelle!

It's so nice of you to "drop by" and check how Andrei is doing.

You know, I actually thought that if there is someone from our friends who can really understand how we feel, that would certainly be you. :)

Also Becky and Mike, Jack's parents ( maybe you also know this cute little fellow http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jackhufty ), would probably understand us.

We do have a monitor indeed, and for the first 2 days we kept him continuously monitored, then we just checked it from time to time and during sleep. He's been doing great since, he hasn't needed oxygen again ever since we got the tubes off, and we hope and pray to God that he will continue to be so.

:) Thanks again for being there for us. Hugs, us.

WOW!!!!!!!!! I just saw the update and am thrilled to hear this! I totally can understand your anxious feelings..I was like that when they took out Noah's trach. It made me so nervous......but you have the monitor to check him to make sure he is doing okay. I am just SOOOOOOOOOOO happy to hear this! Please let me know if he is still doing so well since it has been nearly a month since you posted this. I am just so happy.....
Hugs to all! Love, Michelle
